Hi everyone. You probably know me from emails, invoices, or my cheerful (and occasionally passive-aggressive) "please pay your bill" messages. But you likely don’t know who I am behind the scenes.
I’ve been here since before Day One. Back in 2016, it was just me and my daughter, scrubbing grills by hand. No uniforms, just sweat, grease, and a determination to stop waiting for life to sort itself out.
Before the business, there was a "safe" life in Chicago. One day, I just walked out of it—no explanations, no safety net. I moved to Arizona alone, leaving my husband, Bob, behind (temporarily!) with no idea what I was doing. Out of that absolute chaos, the life you see today was born. What you see is the polished version; what I remember is the mess.
In 2024, I began to write—before fading memory and inherited family patterns had the chance to silence me too.
