From the Author: A Little Shameless Self-Promotion

Hi everyone. You probably know me from emails, invoices, or my friendly (sometimes slightly impatient) “please pay your bill” reminders. But behind the business there’s a story most people never hear.

Back in 2016, this company started with just two people — me and my daughter — cleaning grills by hand. No uniforms, no team, no guarantees. Just grease, determination, and the stubborn belief that waiting for life to change was a bad strategy.

Before that, I had what people call a safe life in Chicago. One day I walked out of it. No plan, no safety net. I moved to Arizona alone and left my husband Bob behind — temporarily — with absolutely no idea what would happen next.

Out of that chaos, the business you see today was built.

In 2024, I started writing — before fading memory and inherited family patterns had the chance to silence me too.

 Voices Within

This memoir doesn’t follow rules. It ignores them.

It explores:

• growing up in the collapsing Soviet world
• the invisible patterns families pass from generation to generation
• relationships, choices, and the cost of finally living your own life
• and yes… Bob is in the story too (I truly hope he never reads it).

This isn’t light reading.

If you like psychology, philosophy, and uncomfortable honesty, you’ll probably enjoy it.

If not — that’s okay.
